B and D Publishing’s KS4 scheme of work on Talking in Whispers by James Watson. The resource pack includes notes on the text, worksheets and oral and written assignments suitable for key stage 4 pupils. The workbook can also be used by pupils for revision, homework and home learning.
Andres Larreta, a young musician, lives in Santiago, Chile. Andres and his friends Isa and Beto battle, not merely to survive but to fight tyranny in their native land. The characters in Talking in Whispers are the creation of the author, but events such as those portrayed have happened in the past in Chile, and continue to happen in countries around the world today “where the force of arms rules the people instead of democracy and the rule of justice”.
Our Talking in Whispers resource pack contains over 40 pages of worksheets covering story, characters, themes and ideas.
