Nice quick activity to assess understanding of the basics, without actually having to do any substitution/number crunching

This is a great activity which covers the factor and remainder theorem, the questions use function notation and require students to interpret this. This would be a great extended plenary when you have been studying the factor theorem, it would help to give you some useful insights into understanding as you listen to the students conversations.
