The 20th Century Challenge

Presentation designed to as a simple useful activity as a starter or plenary in KS3 or KS4 History. There is also the potential to use the printable slides as tasks for research or a cover lesson or as a general homework task. Printable tasks at the end of the slide show
The presentation includes a 10 question challenging quiz on each of the 10 decades of the 20th Century. The challenge can be used as a teacher directed activity or as a paper exercise as described above. The whole presentation contains 33 slides and hyperlinks are embedded throughout.
