In this lesson plan pupils are asked to design and make themselves a ‘wild crown’. Aimed at EYFS and KS1, the activities stimulate a number of creative and cross-curricular learning activities including art and design and observing and understanding the natural world.
Pupils will explore the concept of celebration and The King’s and Queen Consort’s Coronation while experimenting with the colours, textures, patterns, shape and forms that occur in nature. These activities and resources offer a creative, play-based approach to teaching and provide opportunities to link classroom learning with learning outside.
