This pre-teaching resource is essential when intending to study ‘The Lady of Shallot’ by Tennyson. The original is an epic ballard but almost impossible to introduce without the students having adequate prior knowledge of the story of The Lady of Shallot.
I have created an interesting resource which is intended to immediately engage the students. As well as providing a very clear and simple overview of who the Lady of Shallot is, this resource does activate deep thinking questions which can be an excellent starting point for a meaningful class discussion.
