Why: Focuses on most aspects e.g. causes; symptoms; plague doctors; plague jobs; the short term & long term impact and case studies on Edinburgh & London

Tasks: various throughout - individual; pair and group (just pick depending on the class in front of you). Timelines; carousel tasks; cartoon strip; drawing and annotating; video clips; reading primary and secondary sources
Assessments: NHS plague awareness poster; diary entries with peer assessment task; pictionary on methods to tackle the plague; advert for cure; acting out jobs & spelling test and word sort; KU test and teach a lesson
History Focus: introduced a History National 4 Added Value Unit task; prioritising factors (e.g. National 5 Assignment and 8 mark question) introduction and introduction to History comparison; how fully and evaluate the usefulness source questions
