This lesson has been designed to help students understand the Treaty of Vesailles and why the Germans felt humiliated by its terms. This lesson is suitable for low and middle ability students at KS3 and KS4. The activities include a graphic organiser that gets students to discuss and make notes on react term and explain why many Germans would dislike a particular change. It also includes a pro and con organiser that gets students to sort through a series of statements to help them assess whether the Treaty of Versailles was fair.
