This is a unit of work based on the text ‘The Viewer’ by Shaun Tan and Gary Crew.
The resources includes: Active Inspire flipcharts to support the unit of work, model texts, book review lesson with model texts, book mark making, at work lesson and the 3 week unit of work based on Talk For Writing.
We wrote alternative endings to the text and used lots of immersion techniques. We used a viewer, made our own boxes and created art work. The text is a high quality picture book which engages the bios and motivated them to write some fantastic pieces; diaries and alternative endings.
Please note that the flipcharts are only compatible with Activ Inspire.

It's a good starting point
Only opens in promethean and a bit of a rip off from power of reading. A few good ideas.
I have just purchased the unit but can't open any of the flipcharts. Can these be converted to PowerPoints or Smart Notebook?
