Using the Sewing Machine - Lesson plan and resources

In this bundle for the sewing machine I have attached the following documents that help teach students how to use the sewing machine

1. Lesson Plan - this has two different do now activities, links to how to set up the sewing machine, a step by step of how to thread the top of the sewing machine and how to thread the bottom of the machine. It also includes the equipment needed, an exension task and a presentation sheet for the stitched sample that is created by the students.

4. Sewing Machine Step By Step - how to thread the top of the sewing machine and how to thread the bottom of the machine
5. Extension activity - students use this to test their accuracy and stitch straight onto the paper following the lines
6. Sewing Machine Sample Presentation Sheet that includes a peer assessing activity. Student samples are to be stapled onto this.
