This is a Valentine’s Day activity pack for infants which can be used to create a complete lesson or two lessons by adding in a couple more flashcard games or rounds of the games included.

This pack becomes an entire lesson or two if you like!

Start it off with a few flashcard games to practise listening and speaking and get them remembering the vocabulary.

Then move onto the bingo for more listening. Let them join in by using the spinner and increase their language output with phrases such as “I’ve got it” or “I’ve got the balloon”. Make it harder or easier depending on each level.

Then move onto the Valentine’s Day gift game where they have to spin and find a gift on their board. This is great for practising the adjective-noun order that many EFL/ESL learners struggle to remember.

Then create an amazing art gallery with their roll a flower and colour a tree games. This can be done as a structured or as a freer activity. Step back and let them get creative and help each other out. Hang them on the wall and let them vote for the best!
