Volume and Capacity Jar Challenge

This resource is something I created for a group of year 4/5 students who were struggling grasping the difference between volume and capacity. The task not only gets them doing a hands on activity, but also recording the results and answering comprehension questions about the task giving multiple opportunities for formative assessment.

Personally I laminated the Jar sheets and kept them for continual use and I have also added both color and black and white table templates.
