This is an observation lesson that I've put together.
It combines resources made by others on here. In some cases, I&'ve made minor adjustments. Thanks to eclscost for the thoughts and crosses (I&';ve made an extension based on this too), dwatson802 for the visual demonstrations on PowerPoint and rachelthomas89 for the card sort.
I've made the cross sectional areas support sheet to be printed on acetate and this will overlay onto the Core Connect Four game to provide support to weaker pupils by giving them the cross sectional area.
