We’re making soup - An interactive food song for early years’ learners (0-5 year olds)

At last! Musicbuds is here offering an exceptional range of original and well-crafted resources underpinning common musical objectives whilst focused on prominent EYFS themes. Aimed at all Early Years’ practitioners from class teachers, music specialists, teaching assistants, playgroup leaders to EAL and SEND support teachers.

This song can be used to help children to identify and name common vegetables from their own part of the world; to support children learning how to take turns; to support a topic on Healthy Eating/Food/Harvest/Cooking or as part of a story book topic such as The Enormous Turnip or Pumpkin Soup. The rhythmical interjections encourage the children to add their intuitive actions to the song at appropriate moments.

Can be used as a stand-alone item or as Song 3 in our 30-minute music and movement session.
