This resource is a nine page PDF document with activities to do based on the book Wild Book Day by Karl Newson and James Brown. This document contains six worksheets for students.
The activities allow the students to reflect on the story and extend their understanding of the themes within this text. There are vocabulary activities (contractions, rhyming words, compound words and antonyms), a personal reading survey and a worksheet challenging students to think of stories they know which fit certain criteria.
There is a double-up of two worksheets. One is because the pictures are provided in both black and white and colour versions and the other is provided in two versions to cater for our US customers due to spelling differences (favourite / favorite).
