Dear Reader,

This lesson is part of a 10 lessons set; it teaches on the problems that William faced after winning at Hastings. It aims to have students matching general knowledge and original sources while developing their writing ability. All lessons have a same-model structure to get the students taught in a coherent manner, and always understand where they are at in their learning:

ToUnderstand the feeling of Normans and English l.
To Understand how William would have sorted the first problem: the trip to London.
To Analize two original sources on william’s journey to London.

Three tasks based on levels of difficulties. The third task is always writing matching the GCSE writing framework. The two first tasks are group or class-assessed, the third is individual and gives you the chance to go around the class and support writing on one on one.

Homework, reading resources and task templates are included.
This work is already set as slideshow.

Good luck

Alessio
