A complete 11+ style paper using an exciting passage from Susan Hill’s “The Woman in Black”, including the paper and an accompanying power point with answers in the notes. Also a slide linked to a fun starter WordWall quiz which I’ve published, and so is free and easy to find. Guidance included on how to use PEE to answer longer comprehension questions, so could be used as a whole class lesson, or with individual students. Fun and exciting way to teach structure, too, with a tension graph charting the moment Arthur Kipps walks towards things that go “bump” in the night!
