This is an excellent lesson for high school students to understand proxy wars, especially Korean War and Vietnam War during the Cold War. This lesson package includes a presentation (lesson plan), a set of student-friendly readings (including causes, events during the crisis, aftermaths, and testimonials from the wars), and a worksheet to summarize the lesson, compare/contrast the wars, and enhance cooperation in class.
