Includes analysis of language devices in poetry and prose plus creative writing tasks. Context of WW1 warfare and close analysis of both texts, with a comparison of the two and how Morpurgo used Owen’s work to inspire the gas section of his story.
The poem is divided into stanzas and close support is given to writing in PETAL format and exploding quotes.
