Y1 - Y6 breakdown of maths NC (used for whole school assessment)

I have created a breakdown of all the National Curriculum objectives for maths in Y1 to Y6. We have used this as a working document throughout the year to mark off those children who have been taught and achieved the objective. Names can be inserted along the top of the excel sheet.

Examples;

Count in multiples of 2, 5 and 10s

• Count in multiples of 2
• Count in multiples of 5
• Count in multiples of 10

Read, write and compare to at least 1000000 and determine the value of each digit.

• Read numbers to at least 1000000 and determine the value of each digit.
• Write numbers to at least 1000000 and determine the value of each digit.
• Compare numbers to at least 1000000 and determine the value of each digit.

I found that this was easier to show progression and highlight gaps as it’s broken the objective down into each part.
