This is a short resource designed for Year 2 students to help them practice understand the place value of digits in numbers. There is also a 100 grid attached to refresh students’ understanding of numbers up to 100.
I have an extended version of this resource available in my shop, which contains PDF versions of the following:
- A help sheet explaining the concepts of place value and how to write inequalities (i.e. using the <, > and = signs).
- An extended question sheet with more questions to help students practice both their place value and inequalities work with a variety of question types.
- An answer sheet for teacher use or student consolidation.
