Y5 Maths Planning (Covering Area, Perimeter, Capacity and Volume)

A week’s Maths planning for Year 5 students.

Here are the Lesson Objectives covered in the planning:
Monday- LO: To find the perimeter using a formula
Tuesday- LO: To find the area of compound shapes using a formula
Wednesday- LO: To apply a formula for an area of a triangle to a range of shapes
Thursday- LO: To apply knowledge of capacity and reading scales to solve a problems.
Friday- To calculate the volume of cubes and cuboids
