I developed this assessment to use with our Y7 beginner students after their first half term. It could be used as a formative assessment, summative assessment or simply as an in-class activity. The mark scheme is included as part of the download.
In order to complete this, learners would need to have covered:
- Greetings
- What their name is (je m’appelle)
- Where they live (j’habite)
- How old they are (j’ai … ans)
- When their birthday is (mon anniversaire (c’)est le…)
- Basic personality adjectives
The EDSM box at the bottom can be used for whatever grades or ‘levels’ your school uses (we use emerging, developing, securing and mastery).
