Asks children to make full, quarter, half and three quarter turns both clockwise and anti-clockwise.
They are asked to follow the instructions and rotate the arrows, then draw the arrow's final position.
I would recommend teaching fractions, then time before tackling this work, as this learning can be drawn upon to aid understanding of direction.
Lots of practical, concrete work is needed first. I made blank clocks with arrows and split pins for the children to practice with before we went anywhere near this worksheet.
