Year 3 Addition and Subtraction - 3-digit - 2-digit Triple Lesson Bundle (exchanging)

A triple lesson bundle for Year 3 for subtracting a 2-digit number from a 3-digit number that requires exchanging.

Included is:
A single introductory lesson that includes:
A fully-resourced lesson aimed at the Year 3 objective based on being able to subtract a 2-digit number from a 3-digit number where exchanging/ renaming is needed.

Included is a lesson PowerPoint that includes an arithmetic starter for the lesson, key vocabulary, modelling and discussion as well as guided practice. This then moves on to an independent activity and challenge questions, with answers included for these.

Base 10 will also be needed to support the learning as this acts as an introductory lesson which mixes between using Base 10 and modelling the written method alongside this.

A follow up double lesson that includes:
