Here is a topic topic plan with a range of ideas which can be used with KS2. This has been tried and tested as one of the most successful topics I’ve taught in year 5/6!
Included are the following original model texts written by myself which can be used for the Talk for Writing process or however you choose featuring the requirements of the new expected and greater depth standard:
-An original Non Chronological report about the Minotaur
- An invented mythical creature report
- A boxed up plan for planning a new creature
- A version of the Perseus & Medusa Myth
- An original myth
- The story of the Trojan war
-A newspaper report about the Trojan War

Some good articles but poor on the Trojan news which began with a Spanish lesson!!! Could have done with features matching activity for it.
Very disappointing... not worth paying £2 for!
