For this lesson, children carry out research into the Moon (suggested web links are provided) and create an information poster. Also included is a Moon Dairy sheet which can be set for homework either before or after the lesson.
As all children will need to complete the lesson is the internet, this lesson could be delivered remotely or set for home learning.
Note: The vocabulary for the different phases of the Moon is not explicitly covered in this lesson, as it is not a requirement of the National Curriculum. However, because of the way the lesson is set up, it would be very easy to add this in and to add a requirement for children to include this information on their work.
