Ten fully resourced lessons for a Year 6 unit on working algebraically. Included are PowerPoints for each lesson that also include an arithmetic starter as well as activities and challenge activities as appropriate.

Lesson Three and Four - Form algebraic expressions
Lesson Five and Six - Substituting values
Lesson Seven and Eight - Solve equations

What a great set of resources -- really useful and well thought out. I'm not sure about lessons 9-10 with two unknowns, this seems a bit advanced for most year 6 students; but I'm certainly going to use the early lessons. Thank you!
