A transition activity for Y6 (heading into Y7) to have a poetry taster. Students will have the chance to show off any prior knowledge, consider why words and poetry are important before having a go at creating their own page poems.
You will need pages from books/novels for students to complete the activity. They can never believe they’re allowed to draw on the pages!
