This detailed unit will allow pupils to revise the features of recounts as well as covering adverbials, commas and the perfect tense in depth. They will read and explore a range of texts (included in the resources) whilst identifying their features. They will conclude the unit by writing a fictional recount as they compose a sequel to the story ‘Hurricane’.
