This is a 9 lesson Scheme of Work to introduce KS3 students to SHAKESPEARE through The Merchant of Venice. There is a full SOW as well as lesson by lesson powerpoints encompassing READING and WRITING activities whilst exploring the plot, characters, context and themes of the play. The lessons are 100 minutes long so it could be spread out over more than 9 lessons if needed.
