New AQA specification. Complete set of lessons which teach students about rivers. The set of lessons follows on from the coastal SOW, which can also be found on my TES account. The video for the lesson on the River Tees is available on YouTube.

The first lesson in a series which look at fossil fuels, renewable energy and global warming. This first lesson focuses on the fossil fuels and looks at evaluating them. I follow this up with a debate on which fuel is the most precious.

I have created these three PowerPoints for the final examination 2014. I find that simplifying the revision guide and textbooks in this way makes it easier for students. It can also be put on your school VLE for students personal revision.

Assessment booklet created for the AQA spec so that students can track their progress over the course. Students start their GCSE’s in year 9 and do revision in year 10 which is why the booklet only covers year 9 and 10.

In order to support SEN and EAL students learning the formations I have created formation 5, where each formation is broken down into 5 steps. For the AQA A specification module tourism. This lessons looks at tourism in the Lake District (this needs a DVD) and then the ways in which the area manages tourism. A resource created for KS3 students to carry out a DME on where a wind farm should be built. This would last around 3 lessons ending in a debate. However the resources can be used to re organise the lesson in a number of different ways.

AQA A lesson for water on the land which focuses on how water use can be managed and the case study of the kielder dam.

A year 7 lesson aimed at different abilities which looks at the causes, effects and management of the Boscastle flood through the SLN mystery of Mrs George (I have adapted this for SEN and more able).

The purpose of this ticket is to slow students down and make them think about their literacy.
