This resource is designed to teach students how to use varying shades of TONE to begin to demonstrate FORM in their drawings. This sheet mostly focuses on the Formal Elements LINE, TONE, FORM and SHAPE in a step-by-step ‘shade by numbers’ portrait drawing of the famous Martin Luther King Jr. It can be used for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students.
