Statutory interpretation links to resources

Resources on Statutory interpretation - the literal rule, golden rule, mischief rule and purposive approach, intrinsic and extrinsic aids to statutory interpretation. A slide with links to thirty two free resources including games, quizzes and Youtube clips on statutory interpretation from e-lawresources. For the arcade game I would recommend selecting the word shoot option. If you have an interactive touch screen you can use this in lessons with students coming up to the board, alternatively if you don’t have touch screen you can get students to shout out the answers and you can use the mouse. Alternatively set for homework. The anagram, wordsearches, drag and drop, hangman and vortex games will all work on an interactive touch screen, These can be used in lessons as learning checks, as time fillers or direct students to them to aid their revision. The students completing the quizzes get a certificate with their score. This can be set for homework and they can produce their certificate as evidence of completion. There are also links to teaching resources for complete lessons with powerpoint slides and worksheets and a bundle on statutory interpretation.
