Required Practical Collection - AQA GCSE Physics
A compilation of scripts for all 10 required practicals in AQA GCSE Physics (specification 8463) is provided.
Each script serves as a step-by-step guide for students to navigate through the method, allowing teachers to observe with minimal intervention from the front of the class.
After completing a practical, students are expected to answer follow-up questions, addressing essential keywords crucial for their exams. To independently comprehend these terms and respond to the questions, students can utilise the Practical Help Sheet, which is included for FREE.
Each script is designed to span across two one-hour lessons, providing ample time for students to engage in and complete the practical, followed by addressing the related follow-up questions. This structure ensures a comprehensive and unhurried exploration of each practical.
Practicals included:
Specific Heat Capacity
Thermal Insulators
Resistance
Current / Potential Difference Characteristics
Density
Stretching a Spring
Acceleration
Ripple Tank / Waves in a Solid
Reflection and Refraction
Infrared
