A 10 page booklet introducing the new Unit 4 Enquires into Current Research and a programme of dates content will be delivered ahead of Part A released on 25th November 2024 followed by Part B exam 8th January 2054, which you can adapt for your own teaching. There is an accompanying PowerPoint too.
There’s a Facebook group with 5,200 health and social care sharing ideas and resources, come and join the big subject team :-)

September 2025 is the start for the OCR Cambridge AAQ in Health & Social Care, here I am sharing my initial planning.
I will be resourcing the mandatory aspects of the course completely by mid-January and optional units by the beginning of March.

There is a dedicated Facebook group which has been set up to discuss the qualification and optional units, you may wish to join.
If you prefer WhatsApp, there is a qualification specific group with subgroups for the different units with uploaded resources, signpost links and advice/guidance.
You may also wish to join the biggest health and social care subject team and become a member of the Health and Social Care Resources Facebook group. There are now over 5,500+ teachers sharing ideas, resources, signposting and propping each other up!

September 2025 is the start for the Pearson BTEC AAQ in Health & Social Care Unit 1 Human Lifespan Development complete delivery teaching package, adaptable to suit your teaching style.
This package has 73-slide presentation with pause points and teacher guidance in the Ppt notes. Included is also a 27-page student booklet with activities and exam practice tasks. There is a student-friendly mark scheme as a learning tool.
The content covered is:
A1.2.1 physical growth eg. height, weight, muscle development
A1.2.2 intellectual eg. increases in vocabulary and sentences
A1.2.3 emotional eg. managing own emotions
A1.2.4 social development eg. making new friends
C1.1 Childhood dental health and cavities
C2.1 Vaccinations eg. pre-school 4 in 1
C2.2 Health Visitor pre-school check eg. eye sight
C2.4 Dental checks
