Useful word banks to help children to create and describe a monster, a dragon or even an animal. These word banks contain nouns, their synonyms, and adjectives for the following body parts: • skin coverings: fur/hair, scales, feathers, skin, spines, quills • head: horns, antlers, crest, wattle • limbs: legs, wings, flippers, tentacles, claws, talons, hooves, pincers • mouths: jaws/snout, beak, teeth, tusks, fangs, tongue • other parts: tail, mane, dorsal crest, shell, fin, pouch Each body part comes with a list of appropriate adjectives and a photograph for illustration.
