This lesson starts by re-capping on the reasons why America became involved in the Vietnam war. It then contains in depth information and interactive slides on all the American and Viet Cong Guerilla Tactics. There are also a number of brilliant and appropriate videos hyperlinked throughout.
A detailed information sheet and a grid for students to record information is also included.
This lesson also contains two 8 mark exam questions and model answers for students to engage with, designed to mirror the demands of the AQA History B GCSE, though the content would be relevant for any exam in this area.

Designed for the Edexcel GCSE unit 'Warfare Through Time, c1250-present'. This is a set of presentations on Warfare and British Society in the modern era (1900 - Present).
These presentations are clean and clear for students to easily engage with. They have been designed to scaffold the teaching of this part of the course closely alongside the use of the Edexcel Warfare Through Time textbook, which is where the depth of information is contained.

This is a comprehensive and fully resourced lesson that has been made as part of a unit of work on Stuart England, focusing on common beliefs, how people spotted witches, what people were accused of and the trials that the accused faced.
The case study focus of the lesson is on the Pendle Witches.
There are a number of differentiated activities, including a treasure hunt, an analysis of detailed case studies (all instructions provided) and a GCSE style question for embedding skills to name some. Relevant video clips are also included throughout.

James I - To what extent was James a good or bad King?
This lesson starts with the end of Elizabeth’s reign and moves onto who James was and the significance of his arrival in England. Detailed written information is on the slides and there also hyperlinked, appropriate videos.
Source analysis activity - Students examine 8 clear sources and record information for and against. They then make a judgement through a GCSE style 12 mark question to help embed skills.
The Final Solution - What Happened at Auschwitz
This lesson provides a detailed examination of what life was like for people in terms of Arrival, Selection and Life at Auschwitz through the use of key information, source work and relevant educational videos.
Life for Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto.
This lesson makes use of the series of short Youtube videos on the Warsaw ghetto, all of which are clearly hyperlinked at the right places. Students have a question sheet that they fill in as they watch the videos. There is also information provided on each slide. Lots of chance for discussion at different points.
