Starting teaching in 2013 and now work in a North West Comprehensive school as 2nd in PE. I lead both A level PE and GCSE PE, all the resources that I post I use myself. As the school I work in has 1600 students for all walks of life my resources try to simplify some of the more complex topics but will look to add evaluative thoughts to push top end.

Many people have previously bought my EAPI booklet designed to help students (and teachers) to create their Evaluation and Analysis of Performance for Improvement. This is my latest version with recommendations made from the comments made during last year’s moderation of this NEA.
This is a word document with guidelines for students on how to complete the EAPI and how to plan for this quite tricky piece of assessment. I have personally found it difficult to sometimes explain to students about the EAPI and the ‘big picture’ of what is expected so hence I have created this resource. I have included some ideas for students to think about for potential skills strength/weaknesses and summarised the task at hand. I have included the mark sheets at the end so that students can tick off when they think they have thought through each section. This is a resource that I would print off and hand to each student at the very start of introducing the EAPI. This document is now updated to include adjustments and key points from the moderators report. Updated 2024
Updated booklet following the A Level OCR A level PE. I use this personally with my lessons. These booklets help to keep all classwork neat and well presented in order to aid revision. Past paper exam questions have been transfered into booklet to aid with tasks and homework. 28 pages in total from Pre-Industrial Britain up to hosting global events.
I have created a document that includes 6 homework tasks over a unit of practical netball. In the year 7 work, the tasks include getting to understand the game of netball, the positions, passing technique and to create a warm up specific to netball. In the year 8 book some PE theorectical knowledge is included such as bones, muscles and injuries whilst looking at developing the knowledge from year 7. Easy to print off and use or could be set online. I will be using them from Sept 2020. I have tried to make them as user friendly as possible - both for students to complete but also for teachers to mark/assess,
This year 11 transition pack contains tasks for students to complete for the A level Physical Education OCR course. It has work specifically for the topics of Diet and Nutrition, Ergogenic aids, Injuries and some recap of GCSE anatomy physiology. Sports Psychology wise, the packs introduces the topics of Personality, Aggression and Arousal. The final section looks into the modern Olympic Games and the five case studies of political exploitation and then Performance Enhancing Drugs.
This transition pack contains a brief introduction with information about the course and a space to add your own details or school symbols. I have removed my own school’s logo but just by adding your own school logo to the top-right header this will made the pack look professional to your school.
The pack then comprises of some basic work to recap some anatomy and physiology that students should have done at GCSE. The next tasks are filling in information on Diet and Nutrition, Ergogenic aids and then Injuries.
In the Sports Pyschology the tasks allow students to get some early information for the topics of personality, aggression and arousal.
In the last section, students are asked to do some research on the modern Olympic games including the five case studies. The is followed by some work of Performance Enhancing drugs.
The document can be easily altered or tweaked to fit your own personal style.

I am going to get each student to stick them on to the covers of their exercise book. These sheets could also easily be used for purposes such as display boards or for students to be given as part of their revision programme. I have colour coded topics to help with memorization.
