This resource contains a 50-slide PowerPoint lesson on adding the suffix -ing to form the continuous present tense, where no change is needed to the root word (as outlined in the New National Curriculum Spelling Appendix).
Examples are given and opportunities provided within the PowerPoint for pupils to practise the skill of adding -ing to root verbs to form the present continuous tense.

This resource contains a 70-slide PowerPoint presentation on the rules for when and how to add the suffixes -ed, -d, -ied and doubling the last letter to make the simple past tense of verbs.
