Used as an end-of-term activity, topics include: Round 1: What is the key word being described? Round 2: Which country is in the image? Round 3: Name the country from its outline Round 4: Name the geographic feature Round 5: Name the geographic feature: dingbat edition Round 6: Name the country: dingbat edition Round 7: Name the continent (beware: you may have to turn your head a little!) Very simple KS3 atlas* skills lesson. Students are challenging to complete a 'scavenger hunt' using an atlas to find locations and answer a set of questions. I've attached the questions as a printable MS Word sheet, and they are also on the Powerpoint (the answers are on there too, which will allow students to peer/self assess). *Lesson requires set of atlas'.
