This is a booklet I have created for low ability groups. I basically give them a list of vocab that we have already seen in class and then they design a booklet for a partner. Then, they do their partners work and when they finish they swap back and mark their work. It keeps them doing something and they like to create work for someone else… Also they enjoy the marking!

This is a 17-pages workbook I have created for my Year 12 students this year according to the new exam and specification given by Edexcel. Having a look at the sample materials, I have realised the way they ask questions have changed a little bit. They are not asked their opinion on something irrelevant, it is always something to do with the Spanish or Latin American cultures. For example, they are not asked "Do you like music?" but "What do you think about Spanish music?". Following this I have created this booklet which includes questions on all topics and a brief explanation of the exam.

This is a booklet I have created for my Year 8 students of French. With this resource they can revise Module 2 (expo 2 rouge) but it could be used on its own as it includes all the vocab. This is a lesson I have created for module 7, unit 2 (Mis prácticas laborales). We use Edexcel in my school but I am sure it can be useful for AQA or easily adapted. As I wanted to cover a variety of things for this particular unit, I split it in two lessons, and they include: An overview of what we will be studying every lesson of M7 A starter task (x2) A variety of activities (vocab, reading, listening, etc). A sentence builder to talk about work experience Translation activities (both ways) writing task with instructions and steps to section their writing task (I advice them to use 4 different steps - see picture). Preterite and imperfect (explanation and activities) Homework (x2) All answers included and embedded in Power Point. The document is a Power Point file and completely editable. IMPORTANT: please be aware that this is a lesson to use alongside the textbook. All activities are my own creation based on the vocab of the higher textbook (pages 158-159). This resource includes: A Power Point presentation (for teachers) to show students with information about the festival of Las Fallas (Valencia, Spain). In the Power Point students will learn about the origin, the building of the structures and the most important events taking part place during the festival. There are 15 activities for students to complete, including genuine reading, listening (through videos) and translation into both English and Spanish. It is an editable document and all answers are embedded. Some extension work provided. There is also a homework task.
