A Level Spanish - Festivals and traditions - El Carnaval
This resource includes:
A Power Point presentation talking about the origins of the Carnival and information about how the carnival is celebrated in four different cities in Spain: Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Cádiz y Sitges.

Spanish KS3 & 4 - Spanish Christmas Quiz
This is the ultimate Spanish Christmas Quiz.
It has 10 rounds with all different tasks for students to complete.
*Please be aware that not all tasks are Christmas related, but all are Spanish related.
Students can complete this in a similar way to a Escape Room. I give them the first task and until they have completed it correctly they won’t get the next one.
I also do not let them use tablets or Internet access except for tasks 18, 19 and 20. For the rest of them they can use a dictionary.

This lesson was created for a Year 9 group, set 2.

The focus is on the differences between ser and estar. Students will be introduced to some of the rules that we need to follow in order to choose one verb or the other.
