This is a fantastic resource that enables children to explore the relationship between addition and subtraction. These could be printed smaller to be glued into books or why not laminate them and ask children to complete them with a board marker so then can be used again and again.
This is a fun and interactive activity that allows children to explore different triangles, rectangles and circles. Children can cut and stick a selection of shapes and glue them into the correct position on the carroll diagram. This activity is differentiated by the use of a simple and a more complex carroll diagram.

Practical exploration using cubes
This is a fun and practical way to introduce and explore number bonds using cubes. Children can use the activity sheets to make different bonds before having a go at writing addition number sentences. This resource includes an activity sheet for number bonds to 5 and an activity sheet for number bonds to 10.
