This is a lesson to support those of lower ability with learning the myth of Perseus and Medusa. It contains sequencing parts of the story to help children to process the facts in the correct order. It includes activities in pairs to remember the characters. It also includes visual pictures to identify. The mixture of the visual, kinaesthetic and the chance to discuss with partner helps children to process the story. Also comes with a cartoon grid to complete.

This is a Latin resource that focuses on Latin numbers and Roman numerals to 20. I created this Lesson to teach numbers to 20 for Level 2 Common Entrance but also relevant for early GCSE. Looking at Latin numbers is also an ideal way to see how numbers are so similar in so many languages and what the root of these languages is.

This PowerPoint is more of a visual aid to help you lead the lesson. It shows pictures of say triplets. tripod etc and is there to get learners to explore the links for themselves. It also looks at how the names of shapes come from Greek. It also drills the Greek numbers for those teaching Greek. It comes with a worksheet to consolidate the lesson.
