This lesson can be used after teaching your students physical and caracter description in the present tense. This is very basic and can be used for year 7 or low ability KS4. It includes a sentence builder + Conti style activities (choral repatition+ find someone who). There is a reading text with a gap translation activity + a dictation.
Comment est ta famille?
This lesson could be used at the end of the unit to support your studnets to describe their family + relationship. It includes work on 2 texts (find the differences +questions in English). The reading task is a model for the writing task (60-80 words). It also includes modelling steps to be successful at writing (I do, we do and you do technique).The last slide will help your students to develop their metacognition skills.

Last task is an independent writing where students have to use information written in English to write a short profile in French.
