Gymnastics lesson plan - rotations. This is a comprehensive lesson plan on rotations in gymnastics. This lesson is most suitable for students on their first unit of gymnastics (year 7). You should be able to teach a lesson with minimal preparation and I made these so in most cases they can be just picked up and taught. All lessons have levelled outcomes. The levels are the old national curriculum levels 3-8 however they are easily editable and changeable to your own assessment levels. Each lesson has assessment levels, diagrams, differentiation , clear teaching points, clear task explanations and afl opportunities. This lesson should provide enough tasks for lessons of 40 minutes and above. It follows on from my gymnastics lesson 1- basic shapes(free) . Which you can also use to assess the quality of my work. A fun 10 card treasure hunts for a function machines lesson. Skills covered are: finding the input of a function machine by using inverse operations. Student record card and solutions included. Use as a starter for a lesson on solving equations or as AFL/ a plenary for a lesson on finding the input of a function machine. Difficulties include ★ Gold (medium) - Finding the input of a function machine by using inverse operations Students need to start on any random card and note down the letter on their recording card (first page).
