Titanic History lesson – Timeline of the C20th This is one of many lessons that I have uploaded on the history of the Titanic for Key Stage 3 pupils. This is a selection of lessons on the above title. They are quite old now and I found them on an old drive. Looking at them, there are still some good worksheets and some good links so they will make a springboard for further planning... but I think you'd want to adapt them, they&'re not ready to teach and need some updating! This is a full lesson PowerPoint that is ready to teach (with resources if applicable) – although you will wish to adapt it for your own context – it’s part of a Humanities curriculum that is taught to Year 7 pupils, so covers Geography, History and Literacy skills. There are a series of lessons that I have uploaded. They can be taught as a group, or as a standalone as each is an entire complete lesson. The L/Os for this lesson are: To recognise the difference between a description (L4) and an explanation (L5)

This is one of several powerpoint lessons that I have uploaded for key Stage 3 pupils. The lessons are skills based and all cover war texts - from a variety of different wars. The lessons are contextualised in terms of the war period that the text originates from. The lesson is ready to teach, although you will wish to adapt and differentiate. The other lessons can be used alongside it,, but all are suitable as standalone lessons. This lesson covers the life of a child soldier and gets pupils to analyse exts.

Titanic SOW for Level 2/3 pupils(in KS3) lesson This is one full lesson plan with the pp and resources (if I made them) that is part of a full scheme of work that I have uploaded. There are 18 lessons altoghter and they have all been uploaded separately. In some cases, there is only a lesson plan as I've planned it but not made all the PPs. I will add PPs as I create them. Aimed at year 7 who are below level 4 and utilises lots of Kagan practice.

This is training for staff that I adapted so that a core of older children could be trained as mentors in school. Al resources are uploaded with it but, to adapt and implement, you will want to use your own school reports.

This is one of the many lessons and resources that I have uploaded for the teaching of Macbeth to year 7s working at level 4/5 in English. It's based on an end result of old SATs style type question that can be APP'd. This worksheet ask pupils to Identify and explain key lines from the key scenes that show that Macbeth’s character is changing. Select quotes that show that his behaviour and outlook are becoming different from before the murder of Duncan.
