Hello, These lessons are designed for my year 10s to cover the fourth topic ‘Peace and Conflict’ for the NEW Edexcel GCSE RS Spec B ‘Religion, Peace and Conflict through Islam’. Lessons includes starter activity, learning objectives, differentiated tasks, engaging videos and images, stretch and challenge activities, exam questions, direct reference to scripture and denominations if applicable. They are based on the textbook written by Ahmedi (2016). You will need it for some tasks. The Scheme of Work recommends we spend 2 hours on each subtopic however due to time constraints I have created 1 lesson per sub topic apart from Lesson 1. I did this so we could fast track our current year 10 as need to get the course finished. Hello, These lessons are designed for my year 9s and 10s to cover the first topic ‘Christian Beliefs’ for the NEW Edexcel GCSE RS Spec B ‘Religion and Ethics through Christianity’. I have 2 hours per week with my year 9s but 1 hour with year 10 so I have uploaded the doubles but they can be condensed into one lesson if needed. Lessons includes starter activity, learning objectives, differentiated tasks, engaging videos and images, stretch and challenge activities, exam questions, direct reference to scripture and denominations. They are based on the textbook endorsed by Edexcel written by Reid and Tyler (2016). However it is not essential to have it for these lessons. I have also added a double sided key knowledge revision sheet which summarises most important knowledge.
