This English presentation will enable you to take learners through Advent and Christmas in Austria and other German-speaking countries step by step, day by day. Perfect for a pre-Christmas school assembly, the 17 slides (in English) are fully illustrated and include several moments for reflection; a great insight into other cultures. The resource also includes all necessary notes / script for each slide, so this could be delivered by staff or by students alike, e.g. an assembly led by a tutor group. A quiz and answer sheet are provided as a follow-up activity either in assembly or in class, e.g. tutor time or during a German lesson. The slides are included both as PowerPoint Presentation and as .pdf file. All other files are in .pdf format - 2 versions each, i.e. A4 size and letter size. The distinction is made in the file names. If you like this resource, please leave me a review and check out my other Christmas resources here. Look out for my bundles which will save you time and money for even more learning opportunities. Out of fairness to me and to reflect the time I spent designing the enclosed, please be sure to purchase a school license if you intend to share this resource with colleagues anywhere. Thank you. :) ©MosaiK

ESL English Easter thinking skills

At two ability levels, this English Easter resource contains all necessary (chocolate?) ingredients for learners to resolve a logic puzzle. Cue cards with puzzle clues, answer cards with pictures and names, grids to enter their solution and more. There is an English word list to support foundation level learners depending on their ability and knowledge. The list is constructed as a table, so the ESL learner can insert their own language in the second column. The puzzle comes with a play mat onto which learners will place picture cards as they read through and discuss the clues and solve the puzzle. An answer grid in large or small formats will enable learners to eliminate combinations as they get closer to solving the puzzle. A document with suggestions for use and differentiation is included. This puzzle appears to be getting more difficult as it progresses, so always make sure your answers fit the clues on the cards! Out of fairness to me and to reflect the time I spent putting this activity together, please be sure to purchase a school license if you intend to use these as a whole school initiative. Thank you. ©MosaiK

Practise description, numeracy, thinking skills: This French Easter / Pâques board game can be played by 2-8 players and enables players to polish their French verbal descriptive skills, numeracy skills and thinking skills, as well as developing their social interaction. Particularly useful for less advanced learners of French, this game offers a fun way to go on an egg hunt without the temptation of over-eating on chocolate and sugar :) Learners are given a mat and race around the game board to collect as many eggs as will match the pictures on their game mats. A list of useful French and English vocabulary to help learners describe the pictures is provided. One of the documents offers suggestions for use and differentiation. If you like this resource, please leave me a review and check out my other resources. Look out for my bundles which will save you time and money for even more learning opportunities. Christmas Bunting BUNDLE

3 Resources
Bunting in 3 languages (Eng Ger Fre) to decorate your languages classroom this Christmas. This is a BUNDLE made up of my 3 individual resources in English, German and French. There are 30 English flags and 20 each of German and French flags. Each flag features a Christmas-related word with a matching illustration. I am including the Publisher files as well as their .pdf copies for your perusal. Each page features 2 bunting flags to print and cut out. There is no particular order in which to hang this bunting, indeed you may like to mix up the order a bit as they will print in alphabetical order. Print on card or on paper and laminate the print-outs prior to cutting in order to strengthen them. If like me you like a no-fuss assembly, punch each flag at the top with a 2-hole punch, pull a string/ribbon through the holes front to back and to the front again - see example in the preview. A piece of sticky tape at the back will stop each triangle from moving along the string/ribbon. Please kindly respect the time it took me to construct the enclosed sheets. Fairness deal: I will keep my price low. In return please be fair to me and do not pass this resource to colleagues anywhere unless you or your school have purchased the school licence for this resource too. Thank you. :) If you like this bunting, please leave me a review and check out my other resources, with new resources being published throughout the year. ©MosaiK
