This game will enable learners to consolidate and revise important kitchen hygiene and safety rules, incl. game board and 35 cards. Land on a red square and pick up a red card to explain what went wrong and how to put it right. Land on green and pick up a green card to explain that rule to other players. The winner is the first player back to the start/Finish square. No running in the kitchen though! Game board and cards are included as A3/tabloid and A4/letter formats. In this highly and colourfully illustrated workbook, learners will work through personal, social, socio-economic, medical, religious, cultural, ethical and moral food choices. The pictures are presented in 4 sizes as well as in a 50 slide PowerPoint presentation. The pictures are formatted as 1 / 2 / 4 / 12 per page and can therefore be used for class presentation, group discussions, all sorts of activities, games etc… a document with information and suggestions for use is also included, as is an editable list (MS Word format) of 40 questions in English. This resource is suitable for any language. As the buyer, you can translate the list of questions into any language for your learners.

The Publisher file enables you to add languages (using the current format), e.g. to include any other languages spoken by students or staff at your school. Each page features 3 bunting triangles to print and cut out. There is no particular order in which to arrange the bunting. I would suggest that like me you punch each triangle at the top with a 2-hole punch, pull a string/ribbon through the holes front to back and to the front again. A piece of sticky tape at the back will stop each triangle from moving along the string/ribbon. Print on card or on paper and laminate. Fruit and Veg: Students are required to describe pictures before answering 2 questions in more detail. These 4 worksheets are ideal for cover, independent work or to fuel discussion between learning partners. Although the worksheets are numbered, this is purely for teacher/student reference as there is no particular order in which they need to be completed. How about laminating these worksheets and let groups of students work on them to create a poster with a copy of the picture in the middle and their answers written around the edge? Then ask each group to present their findings. This could result in a good class discussion… Now, are tomatoes actually a vegetable or a fruit? Why can or can’t bananas grow where you live?
